Activities

Each year participants take part in a set of activities, including one or more leadership workshops, which may vary from year to year based on funding.

• Opening session and leadership workshops
• President’s Forum
  This session provides the opportunity to hear from the president of each participating institution.
• Legislative days
  A visit to Tallahassee, including stops at the Florida Legislature and the FACC office, helps participants learn more about the legislative process and how it affects community colleges.
• Project
  Class projects can range from volunteer public service work, to something more tangible. The class of 2006-2007 created an informational brochure which described the program drawing some information from the former class’s project and upon which this web site is based.

  Each participant is mentored by a senior-level administrator at one of the participating institutions
